1. What this site is — and isn't

This website provides legal information and AI-generated estimates, not legal advice. Legal advice requires an attorney who knows the specific facts of your case and has agreed to represent you. Nothing on this site — including the results of any AI tool — is a substitute for that.

2. No attorney-client relationship

Using this website, any AI tool, or the free case check does not create an attorney-client relationship with Counterpoint Legal. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when both you and the firm sign a written engagement agreement.

That said: if you request attorney review of your case check, we treat your submission as a confidential prospective-client communication and a licensed attorney personally reviews it. Please don't submit information about a matter in which we already represent an opposing party; if a conflict of interest exists, we may be unable to respond and will delete your submission.

3. About the AI tools

• Our tools use artificial intelligence to generate estimates, analyses, and draft documents based on the information you provide.
• AI output can be wrong. Estimates are based on typical outcomes and the accuracy of what you enter. Your actual case value, deadlines, and options depend on facts and law an attorney must review.
