1. Who We Are

2. What We Collect — by Tool

We only collect what each tool needs. Here is exactly what each tool does with your data:

• Calculators (Case Worth, Pain & Suffering, Lost Wages, Wrongful Death): All calculations happen entirely in your browser. Your inputs are never transmitted to our servers. We collect nothing.
• Evidence Organizer & Checklist Tools: Progress is saved in your browser's localStorage only. This data never leaves your device. We collect nothing.
• Hurtcules AI Chatbot: Your messages are sent to our server and processed by our AI provider under enterprise no-training terms. Conversations are not stored beyond your session unless you request attorney review.
• AI Letter & Document Tools (Demand Letter Explainer, Insurance Letter Explainer): Your uploaded text is sent to our AI provider for analysis and returned to you. We do not store the document content on our servers.
• Free Case Check (Check My Case): Your answers are held in your browser until you submit. On submission, your case details are processed by our AI to generate your analysis. If you do not request attorney review, your submission is automatically and permanently deleted within 24 hours. If you request attorney review, your submission is retained for the duration of your legal matter plus three years, as required by California professional responsibility rules.
• Contact Form: Your name, email, phone, and message are stored and used to respond to your inquiry. Retained for three years.

We also collect server access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for up to 30 days for security purposes only.

3. AI Processing — Our Provider and Data Protection

Our AI features use Manus's built-in LLM infrastructure, which routes to enterprise AI APIs (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) under enterprise agreements. Under standard enterprise API terms, your inputs are not used to train AI models. Note: We are in the process of obtaining a written Data Processing Agreement (DPA) from our AI infrastructure provider confirming zero-data-retention terms. Until that DPA is in place, this section reflects our good-faith understanding of the provider's enterprise terms. We will update this policy when the DPA is confirmed.

Your case details are never used to train any AI model. A licensed attorney personally reviews every case submission that requests attorney review.

4. Data Retention Summary

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will confirm deletion within 45 days.

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to evaluate your case, connect you with our legal team, and respond to your inquiries. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose other than providing legal services and operating this website.

6. Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate information; and opt out of sale (we do not sell data). 7. Cookies and Tracking

We use only strictly necessary session cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use advertising pixels, session-replay tools, third-party analytics trackers, or any other third-party tracking technology. Zero third-party trackers — verified.

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
